British Waterways: Rights and Wrongs
An illustrated, documented list of what BW get up to on our waterways and where they get things right and where they get things wrong - with suggestions of how they should be put right!
Compiled by Val Roberts. Contributions should be sent to Editor@hnboc.org.uk
A listing of the narrowest, lowest, shortest and least draughted places on Britains waterways where you can take your boat. These are structural problems incidentally - rather than dredging or similar issues (although we are of course interested to hear about those as well!). All contributions welcome. Planned items include the Chesterfield Canal restoration, The Huddersfield Narrow Canal, The Llangollen Canal and certain narrow tails on the eastern Trent & Mersey Canal. Please send contributions to the webmaster - using the email link on the menu on the left.
