Complex history hence some fleet & gauge details not given here. E Thomas of Walsall owned ex FMC craft EMPEROR & ENVOY ( ex EMPRESS & renamed in 1919). He renamed EMPEROR as EMPRESS and allegedly cut up & disposed of the original EMPRESS / ENVOY, a saga supported by several sources.
