Awards and Trophies
The Club presents two annual awards to the owners of historic boats that have been most improved during the preceding year. Whenever possible, presentation of the trophies is made at the AGM in March.
The Ken Keay Award - for wooden narrow boats
This award in named in memory of Ken Keay, who built and repaired wooden boats at his boatyard in Walsall.
The John Hemelryk Award - for iron/steel/composite narrow boats
This award is named in memory of the long-time owner of ex-FMC Peacock, who was renowned for maintaining it to an exceptionally high and original standard.
